This article is full of theory, assumptions and speculation regarding iEthereum. Enjoy!

Is Vitalik Buterin the creator of the iEthereum project? Why would we postulate this? There is good subjective reasoning. Hear me out!

The email address attached to the Github and Etherscan originating documents and submitted information for the founding of iEthereum is [email protected].

What are the odds? Definitely not proof, but enough to postulate a theory.

Let’s start from the top.

Vitalik Buterin is a cofounder of Ethereum. He also remains the face of Ethereum.

Ethereum is also referred to as Ether. So what is Ether?

“Moving from the stability of earth, through the flow of water, the passion of fire, and lightness of air, we reach the element that makes everything else possible: ether or ‘space’. Ether is both nothing and everything at the same time. It’s stillness, yet it’s the very thing that makes all movement and life possible.”

Emma Newlyn

The less known fifth element of life; earth, wind, water, fire; is Ether. Ether initially served as a scientific designation for what 19th-century physicists referred to as "the fifth element" of life.

According to www.names.org, The name Vitalik is long form for Vitali; meaning “vital” or “full of life.”

I find it interesting; a founder with the name that means “full of life” creates Ethereum; which also has the meaning that constitutes the essence of all life in its root origin.

The logic puzzle begins now. Bear with me.

All logic puzzles provide assumptions. Our assumptions for the basis of this article is that the

  • [email protected] founding email is using a first name.

  • This person is a blockchain developer as his name is tied to a developer database; ie github.

  • As a developer you are in possession of cryptocurrency. Meaning iEthereum is an Ethereum based ERC20 token, you must contain at minimum a small amount of Ethereum to deploy a project; ie this Vitalik owns crypto.

Now lets begin the puzzle…

Institutional Research (DCI Licensed Access)

The iEthereum Digital Commodity Index (DCI) is a separate institutional-grade research product offered under licensed access (not public subscription tiers). The iEthereum Digital Commodity Index (iE-DCI) is a longitudinal research archive documenting the observed structure and behavior of iEthereum; a neutral, fixed-supply digital commodity. It is published monthly and quarterly to preserve analytical continuity independent of narratives, governance influence, or promotional activity.

The DCI does not predict outcomes or promote adoption; it maintains measurement consistency across time.

Licensed organizations receive full Monthly and Quarterly DCI Reports, complete valuation frameworks, market structure analysis, and access to underlying datasets and methodology.

For licensing inquiries, institutional access terms, or research use cases, visit iEthereum.org or request a DCI license directly with Knive Spiel at [email protected].
