Letter from the Editor — June 2025
Knive Spiel, iEthereum Advocacy Trust

June has always carried the fragrance of change. This year, it arrived perfumed by wisteria in full bloom — a vine that teaches us a lesson in timing, patience, and beauty. As the purple clusters hung heavy in the early summer air, so too does iEthereum show the early fruiting of years of quiet resilience, branching steadily upward through trellises once thought impassable.

The Strawberry Moon crowned the month like a torch over ripening fields. Ancient cultures saw this moon as a time to gather what had quietly grown. In the same light, iEthereum’s June metrics offer signs of maturing strength: increased circulating supply suggests a loosening of once-hoarded assets, flowing into a broader community of holders. But unlike a dilution, we observed average wallet holdings increasing, signaling not just dispersion, but participation. Those hands holding iEthereum — are holding more of it.

This shift in balance is mirrored in the decrease in concentration among the top 100 holders (excluding exchanges). Power is becoming diffuse, opportunity more democratic. Like the early Continental Army that celebrated its 250th birthday this month, our ecosystem is being forged not by hierarchy but by conviction — many individuals, bound by a common purpose, defending the integrity of something they believe in.

On Flag Day, we reflect on the symbols that represent who we are. iEthereum, in its simplicity and immutability, becomes a kind of flag — one not imposed by force, but chosen freely. A quiet standard of honesty, transparency, and sovereign transaction. Its increased volume and velocity in USD terms this month show it's not just a store of value — it’s on the move, although slowly, a banner carried into markets, trades, and ideas.

President Trump's 79th birthday reminds us of a generational pivot. Love him or challenge him, he represents an era of blunt clarity and national self-assertion. iEthereum too now walks into this era with a matured tone — not a meme, not a whisper, but a digital commodity with presence. Our rise in newsletter subscriptions and web traffic tells the story: people are listening. They're watching. They're beginning to see what we’ve seen all along.

And finally, we passed through the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year. In this season of maximum light, shadows flee. The truth becomes easier to see. In our data, we saw more transfers, and while modest, they mark a direction — toward trust, toward velocity, toward use. This solstice, iEthereum stood under a high sun, visible, unchanging, and above all: working.

As we turn toward the second half of the year, the task ahead is leadership — not just in markets, but in meaning. iEthereum is not merely circulating; it is connecting. The digital vine flowers. The ledger pulses. The human element — you — awakens. We’ve grown. We’ve held fast. And we’ve just begun.

Here’s to July,
