Yesterday, I received a message from X (formerly known as Twitter) stating that my account was temporarily suspended. As someone fairly new to X, I feel it is essential not to rely solely on this platform, especially if it remains sensitive to free speech topics that the algorithm, moderators, or other authorities find unamusing. Consequently, I have decided to join Gab, a free speech alternative to X. I will continue to refer to the platform as Twitter if it continues to act like Twitter. However, I will embrace X if it genuinely supports free speech.

As we learn and navigate the Gab platform, our intent will be to see what the best Gab strategy will be moving forward. We presume our Gab account will feature as many posts as I share on other platforms, at most, or at least, will feature our freshly published articles. This action by Twitter (X) has motivated me to expand my horizons. The messages from X are vague, making it challenging to make informed decisions. Is the account suspension temporary? Do I need to walk on eggshells? Am I being shadow banned? How long will this last? I have taken screenshots of these messages for clarity.
Moreover, X makes it particularly difficult to contact anyone, especially with a small account and no blue check mark. This lack of direct communication adds to the frustration and uncertainty. I requested help via @ElonMusk with a message and another @ElonMusk statement regarding freedom of speech. Fortunately, my account has been restored thanks to @ElonMusk, and for this, I am grateful. However, it still leaves me uncertain about how much time and energy should be solely focused on X without an alternative. Or am I being shadow banned? Experiences like this remind you that your power to post can be revoked at a moment's notice in this dystopian age we find ourselves.

The new iEthereum Advocacy Trust Gab handle is @iethereum and can be found at www.gab.com/iethereum. Gab is considered by many to be a lesser-known Twitter (X). With only 4 million accounts, Gab provides a substantial audience for the iEthereum Advocacy Trust, which is just beginning to engage in social media outreach. This number is sufficient to reach plenty of people as we are getting our start in developing an online social media presence.
We will not allow any social media platform to silence us. Those that control social media platforms can attempt to discriminate against us for our beliefs in freedom or our knowledge of the opportune iEthereum technology by limiting our reach. However, this adversity only makes us stronger while pointing fingers at tyrants. We have added our Gab account information to the standard footer at the end of every article from here on out.
I can assure any social media platform that attempts to censor our voice, we will not hesitate to focus our efforts elsewhere. We will use these moments as opportunities to spend our energy on your competitions platforms. We will fight fire, not with fire, but with water.
Thank you Gab for your hospitality!
Come Gab with us.
