Summer has officially arrived.

At least that's what the calendar insists.

Nature, however, remains unconcerned with our schedules. Here in the valley, summer is still making up its mind. Some mornings my walk along the river means dry socks and dusty trails. Other mornings the river reminds everyone that spring has not fully surrendered, swelling just enough to reclaim the path and soak the unsuspecting.

The world rarely changes all at once. It advances in negotiation.

The salmonberries have given way to currants, blueberries are nearly ready, and milk thistle—dismissed by many as little more than a roadside weed—has quietly become one of the season's finest delicacies. Every month brings another reminder that value often belongs to those willing to look beyond appearances.

The cottonwood, once filling the air like an endless snowstorm, is finally fading. Its white blankets now gather along the earth like the last remnants of winter, a reminder that every season eventually cleans up after itself.

Meanwhile, the salmon have returned.

For months the river appeared empty, yet beneath the surface an ancient timetable continued uninterrupted. Their arrival also marks the closing of another fishing season—a reminder that abundance and restraint are partners, not enemies. Healthy systems know when to harvest and when to allow renewal.

The deer remain calm. Rabbits seem to multiply overnight. Every roadside tells another story as wildlife and civilization continue negotiating the boundaries they increasingly share. Progress is rarely free of unintended consequences.

Far beyond this small river valley, another season is unfolding.

Wildfires have begun to appear once again, reminding us how quickly years of quiet growth can be altered by a single spark. Mountain passes, buried beneath snow only months ago, have finally reopened after long winters and hard repair work. The route forward often exists long before it becomes accessible.

Across the world, wars continue. The earth itself reminds us of its power through earthquakes and shifting ground. Courts continue issuing decisions that reshape the legal landscape. Politics remains as energetic and divided as ever.

History does not pause simply because we wish for quieter headlines.

Yet this month's observations reinforce something remarkably consistent.

Nature does not panic.

It adapts.

It waits.

It restores.

It advances one season at a time.

That perspective has become increasingly relevant to iEthereum.

Markets rise and fall. Headlines change by the hour. Governments debate policy. Technologies compete for attention. Entire narratives can reverse between one news cycle and the next.

Infrastructure cannot afford to live at the speed of headlines.

The strongest foundations are built much like the forests, rivers, and mountain ranges around us—not by reacting to every storm, but by remaining stable through all of them.

Neutrality is not inactivity.

It is resilience.

Just as the river continues flowing regardless of politics, and the salmon continue returning regardless of markets, truly neutral infrastructure serves everyone without choosing sides. Its value comes not from predicting the future but from remaining dependable no matter which future arrives.

This has always been what seems to be the philosophy of iEthereum and its mysterious design.

Not to chase excitement.

Not to promise certainty.

But to quietly provide a foundation upon which others may build.

Summer always feels like the season of visible growth. Yet every berry, every returning salmon, every reopened mountain pass is the result of work that began long before anyone noticed.

The same is true of meaningful innovation.

The world continues changing.

So do we.

Patiently.

Deliberately.

One season at a time.

The record continues,
