As you may know, I am trying to build the speculative case that iEthereum is a secretive (hard to be secretive on the Ethereum network) but none the less, unknown and constrained crypto project created, or envisioned by Apple or some form of intention. In fact, some of my writings even suggest that iEthereum is a Steve Jobs creation; part of his lasting vision. The identity, function, design and vision is all too perfect.

Apple Inc., celebrated for its visionary design and innovative spirit, has long been a company shrouded in mystique. Its iconic logo—an apple with a bite taken out—carries symbolic weight, evoking themes of knowledge, temptation, and innovation. What if this same spirit of innovation extends into the world of blockchain? What if iEthereum, a mysterious and constrained cryptocurrency project, is an unseen extension of Steve Jobs’ design ethos? This blog explores these intriguing parallels, drawing connections between Apple’s philosophy, biblical narratives, and iEthereum’s mysterious allure.

Disclaimer: Everything discussed in this article is pure speculation, examination and game theory. We are making no claims that iEthereum is an Apple product, or that Apple has any affiliation with iEthereum or has a developing wallet. For those of you that are new to the iEthereum Advocacy Trust website; iEthereum (the erc20 token) contains the Apple brand identity within its logo. Therefore we discuss this speculation and have fun theorizing. We are not the founders of iEthereum.

Apple’s Design Philosophy: Reversing Engineering and Design

Apple’s approach to product development is famously design-driven. Designers first conceive objects of beauty and functionality, imagining what these products could achieve. Engineers then face the challenge of realizing these visions within predefined parameters. This reversal of traditional engineering processes—where function often dictates form—has produced revolutionary products like the iPhone, iMac, and iPad.

The connection to iEthereum becomes compelling when considering how this same principle might apply to blockchain. If Apple’s design ethos influenced iEthereum, the cryptocurrency likely began as an idealized vision—a perfect balance of usability, beauty, and purpose. Its technical framework would then have been meticulously crafted to meet these exacting standards, mirroring Apple’s insistence on precision and elegance.

Biblical Parallels: Bezalel, the Tabernacle, and Divine Precision

In the biblical narrative, Bezalel is commissioned by God to construct the mishkan, the tabernacle meant to house the Torah and Ten Commandments. Bezalel’s work, guided by divine instruction, demanded adherence to precise specifications.

This narrative parallels Apple’s design philosophy and could reflect iEthereum’s creation. Just as Bezalel’s craftsmanship embodied divine precision, iEthereum might embody a commitment to a higher standard. Its simplicity, immutable nature, capped supply, and constrained design could represent a modern interpretation of divine craftsmanship—an insistence on creating something that adheres to a predefined vision or ideal.

iEthereum: Innovation Within Constraints

Apple’s innovation often flourishes within constraints. For instance, the original iPhone faced significant technological limitations, yet Apple’s designers and engineers created a product that redefined the industry. Constraints breed creativity, forcing innovation to align with a specific vision.

iEthereum’s capped supply of 18 million tokens and its immutable contract echo this principle. These constraints may have been deliberately designed to ensure the cryptocurrency remains scarce, secure, and aligned with its creator’s vision. If Apple or a Steve Jobs-inspired team is behind iEthereum, these limitations are not weaknesses but strengths—features that reflect intentional design choices.

The Concept of Hiddur Mitzvah: Beautification of a Good Deed

The Jewish concept of hiddur mitzvah emphasizes enhancing the beauty of a good deed. Hiddur mitzvah means taking the time and making an effort to create or acquire the most beautiful ceremonial objects possible in order to enrich the religious observance with aesthetic dimension. This philosophy resonates with Steve Jobs’ emphasis on form over function, where aesthetics elevate a product’s intrinsic value.

If iEthereum is viewed through this lens, its design might represent an effort to elevate cryptocurrency to a higher standard. The project could be seen as a “good deed” in the blockchain space—a refined and beautiful solution to challenges like transparency, immutability, and scarcity. Its very existence could symbolize the beautification of decentralized finance, aligning functionality with elegance.

The Apple Logo: Knowledge, Temptation, and Blockchain

Apple’s logo—a bitten apple—has been interpreted as a nod to the biblical story of Adam and Eve, symbolizing knowledge and temptation. This symbolism can be extended to blockchain and iEthereum.

Blockchain technology, often touted as a revolutionary tool, represents a modern “tree of knowledge,” offering transparency, immutability, and decentralization. iEthereum’s role within this ecosystem might be likened to the “fruit” of this tree—a product of innovation that tempts users with the promise of financial autonomy and trustless transactions.

The bite in Apple’s logo could also signify the blend of perfection and imperfection—a reflection of humanity’s relentless pursuit of knowledge despite inherent flaws. iEthereum, with its constrained design and secretive origins, embodies this balance. Its limitations are not shortcomings but intentional choices, much like the imperfections that define art.
